寫這份〖雪梨美食指南〗的動機是希望能給在雪梨的或是即將要來雪梨玩的人多一些方向。因為我自己在做世界各地旅遊的功課時，會希望能夠跳出「觀光客該吃什麼」的框框，而去看到「當地人喜歡吃什麼」的有趣。我住在雪梨的十多年下來，也累積了許多心目中最喜愛的雪梨美食，而其中很多是從大學吃到出社會，在雪梨餐飲界屹立不搖的老店。希望大家會喜歡 :)

＊＊這份美食指南以雪梨市區及周邊的中低價位小餐廳為主。中高價位的精緻美食和噱頭十足的餐廳雪梨也有很多，但不在此指南的範疇內。我們不是每天都吃大魚大肉，其實小菜館反而更能打動人心。

It occurred to me that when I do my holiday research, I like to find food tips in other cities that are "local favourites", rather than just "a must for tourists". That's when I decided to publish a Guide like this for Sydney - the city that I have lived and loved for the past ten+ years. A lot of the restaurants featured in here have thrived in the Sydney food scene for decades, I hope you would enjoy them as much as I have!

＊＊This Guide does not cover the abundance of fine dining and social media craze that Sydney has to offer, as we often find joy and comfort in the simpler things.
